Don't just take our word for it.
Both my daughters attend DanceBeats/Db Cheer 5 days a week between them. Two years ago my eldest daughter made the decision to pursue cheerleading over gymnastics. She was painfully shy and lacked confidence. Now, she is not only confident and outgoing, but sees DanceBeats as family. Charli and Faye have not only taught her amazing new skills but also the importance of teamwork, fun and body confidence.
My younger daughter has been with DanceBeats for 4 years and refuses to miss a class due to her passion and absolute love of dancing. Charli and her team are amazing dance teachers and she completely adores them. Her confidence has blossomed over the years, her dancing is beautiful and her love of life shines through.
Mum of two dancers
Who would have thought it, me, the wrong side of 35, the right side of 40, a slightly overweight mum of 3 could rock a pair of leggings and join a cheerleading squad. What started as a foolish "off the cuff" remark made by oneself about a mums squad, would find me - routine complete, throwing some poor middle aged unknown woman into the air (and catching her I would like to add)
But here I am, a matter of weeks before a competition, me!!!
I love the new friends I have acquired through my daughters love of all things cheerleading, and all things involving height and speed, to say she's fearless is an understatement, I love seeing how much she enjoys being in the moment.
But now I have a new group of friends, MY cheerleading friends, some I knew as fellow (stand firmly on the sideline friends) and some have developed. Trust me you get to know someone pretty well when you spend an evening holding their bum in a chair lift or dead man, (look I'm even learning the terminology)
I have cheerleading friends, I have a firmer butt, I have more confidence, I have renewed respect, I have found an exercise I enjoy and might just stick to!!! Now where did I put those Pom poms ....

DanceBeats has changed the way I am, before dancing I didn1t have much respect for anyone, but no matter what Charli and the teachers are always there for support and have helped me through some tough times. Coming to DanceBeats has made me realise that I can follow my dreams and do what I want in life, and to also have fun and enjoy dancing as much as I do. Just like them I should follow my heart, no matter what people say. Even though I would like a lie in on a Saturday morning, instead I go dancing and it puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.

DanceBeats has become a very important part of my nine-year olds daughters life. Charli and her team have not only taught her to dance but have also given her the opportunity and confidence to perform. EVERYONE should come and see what this school has achieved and what they have done for children in the community
